Zombie Survival Guide, Jumbo Edition

Chronoscope #50024 "Townsfolk: Modern Children" - pewter miniature manufactured by Reaper Miniatures ([link]), painted and re-based by me, with some "papercraft" decoration.

My intent here was to make a child survivor for a zombie apocalypse campaign (War of the Dead -- Daring Entertainment: [link]) using the Savage Worlds RPG rules and a bunch of Reaper Miniatures, run at my local game store. To try to customize the minis to make them for a "zombie apocalypse" (and not just random kids on their way home from a perfectly normal day at school), I tried printing little paper details at 600 dpi, then cutting out pieces and using them for base and figure decoration. In this case, I made a "miniature" version of the Zombie Survival Guide (great book!), but it still came out a bit larger than entirely appropriate for 28mm scale. (Hence, I'm calling it the "Zombie Survival Guide - Jumbo Edition!")

The background terrain piece is a salvaged section from a broken "Hot Wheels City" play set, affixed to some mat board and re-painted.
