Description
This can hardly be considered a real "conversion," but I took some old plastic Advanced HeroQuest "Skaven" miniatures, used a bit of Magic Sculpt, and added lit candles to their heads to represent kobolds as portrayed in the World of Warcraft MMORPG. I used several of these as low-level combatants for a World of Warcraft d20 RPG campaign back in 2004-2006.
