WWII American Infantry Patrol

Reaper Chronoscope #77009 - "WWII American Infantry" -- originally miniatures from Reaper's "Reich of the Dead" line.

As with the rest of the miniatures originally released under the "Reich of the Dead" name, these figures are noticeably shorter than other Chronoscope models, as they are closer to conventional 28mm scale (as measured from the bottoms of the boots to the level of the eyes), versus the 31.5 mm measurements from boot-to-eyes of the typical standing Chronoscope miniature (such as "General Drake" and "Sgt Mack Torrey"). Still, they're nicely detailed, and work fine for representing "rank-and-file" troopers, even if they are noticeably short compared to the "hero" types.

I still need to paint up a few more of these guys to have a viable fighting force against the undead hordes unleashed by Nazi weird science in the "Reich of the Dead" skirmish game (using Reaper's RAGE system). Of course, we could have about the same scenario in games of "Weird War II" (Savage Worlds RPG).
