Old Kitsune Miniatures Conversion

Description

A long time ago, my local "Sci-Fi City" game store had a massive clearance on lots of miniatures from brands I'd never heard of before -- and in some cases there were "grab bags" of loose minis that weren't even in blisters (so I couldn't identify the manufacturer). Among the "grab bags" I got were several Japanese-styled figures in "true" 25mm scale (that is, about 1 inch from bottom of feet to top of head) -- rather smallish even back then compared to most of my gaming miniatures thanks to "scale creep" (back then the norm was around 28mm -- and now it's up to about 32mm).

I got two copies of this same figure in a kimono, and decided to try my hand at making a human version and a kitsune (fox spirit) version, using a bit of the "green stuff" (ribbon epoxy putty) to re-sculpt the head, and then painting them up close to the same way (so that I could use the figure in an adventure to represent a human form and then kitsune form when her true nature had been revealed).

Alas, I have no idea as to who is the original manufacturer.

The detail on the kimono is particularly well done.
