Chronoscope pewter 28mm-scale gaming miniatures manufactured by Reaper Miniatures ([link]), painted and re-based by me, with the intent of using them to represent "Men in Black" for some future RPG scenario.
From left to right: #50202 "Government Agent Jones," #50206 "Professor Kraken," and #50203 "Government Agent Smith." I slightly modified "Agent Jones" with some Apoxie Sculpt (two-part epoxy putty) to give him a chin, since the original miniature had a strangely rounded face that made him an extremely sunken chin.
The agents are re-based on standard 25mm round bases with a layer of Apoxie Sculpt putty that I squashed a texture pattern onto, then painted to represent a tiled floor design. The alien ("Professor Kraken") is re-based on a War Cast Studios ([link]) resin 25mm round "industrial" decorative base.
The background "techno-junk" scenery consists of assorted pieces of broken Star Wars Micro Machine toys / play-sets acquired over the years in thrift stores, cut apart and reassembled for sci-fi modular scenery tiles.
I haven't settled yet on the details for a proper "MiB" scenario, and I'd need to get a few more miniatures so that I could accommodate a standard player group, but I'd probably end up using Savage Worlds RPG rules (for sheer flexibility). I might also use "Professor Kraken" for games of Slipstream (a retro-futuristic sci-fi setting).
That's a great idea! I actually have a pug dog miniature as one of the "familiars" packs from Reaper (Reaper Miniatures #02756 - "Familiar Pack IV" -- [link]). If I can find the "pug" from that set (I've got it in a box somewhere), I could paint it up and just paint on a suit jacket, and -- voila! Agent F. Thanks for the suggestion!
