Dungeon Shopping

Scene from my "Stables & Staremanders" game on the weekend -- a not-very-serious-at-all game done in "old-school" fantasy RPG style (using Savage Worlds RPG rules), but with ponies/gryphons/dragons/unicorns/pegasi/etc. instead of the typical fantasy assortment of dwarves/elves/halflings/humans/etc. The heroes were represented (mostly) with 2" tall PVC "My Little Pony" blind bag toys modified with putty and put on 1.5" diameter bases. Scenery consisted of Hirst Arts Castlemolds castings (here, primarily the 1.5" square "cobblestone" floor tiles) and various bits -- such as some plastic beads I used for vases, decorative pillars, and braziers.

As this was a not-entirely-to-be-taken-seriously game, there was an infernal shopkeeper with a booth down in the dungeon, occasionally trying to swindle the heroes into offering up their "souls" in exchange for magic items -- but, as anyone with any degree of intelligence wasn't interested in that sort of a "deal," she'd accept large amounts of gold instead and the occasional magic-item trade-in.
