Cryx Scavenger Bonejack in Blackwater by JordanGreywolf Cryx Scavenger Bonejack in Blackwater by JordanGreywolf
A pewter 28-32mm scale game miniature from Privateer Press, intended to represent a Scavenger Bonejack -- a fusion of necromancy and magical-mechanikal processes, powered by a steam boiler running off of the supernaturally-toxic substance, necrotite.

It's not that spectacular of a paint job, I know, but my main accomplishment here was that when I received this miniature, it was missing one leg.  Fortunately, I had another Scavenger to use as a reference, so I used some Instant Mold plastic, heated it up, got a push-mold impression off the one leg (where I needed TWO), used some epoxy putty to make a crude duplicate, cleaned it up, and gave it additional support (since it was far too brittle to support the pewter model's weight) by putting a section of "brick wall" underneath its body as a structural support.

This was an adversary for a couple of encounters in my ongoing Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy (steampunk-fantasy) RPG campaign.

Is that the new leg we're looking at?

Yeah.  That's why the details on it are so shallow, and I had to brace its "foot" flat to the ground rather than just touching the tip (because the ground is what the "foot" is actually anchored to, due to the break at the "ankle").  I suppose I should show BOTH sides for comparison.  The original piece's details are a lot sharper.
